Lessons
I am available for private lessons in Southern California or by video using Skype. I use an individualized approach to teaching since there are no two students who learn the same way. I have been teaching privately for more than 25 years with students ranging from pre-professional university students to children and adult enthusiasts. Currently, I chair the Department of Music and the Guitar Program at California State University, Dominguez Hills (CSUDH) in the Los Angeles area and hold the title of Full Professor of Classical Guitar.
My technical approach to the instrument is presented in my series of method books Classical Guitar Complete(volumes 1 and 2) which is used by a number of colleges and universities. I have done a number of instructional videos based on the books for Guitar Salon International (GSI). Some sample videos:
